Master Mexican Weaver

José Buenaventura Gonzalez Gutierrez is an organic master Mexican weaver from Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico.

Teotitlán del Valle is known for its textiles, especially rugs, which are woven on hand-operated looms, from wool obtained from local sheep and dyed with local, natural dyes.

All of José’s rugs are hand-carded and hand-spun using 100% organic materials.
